Before becoming a dentist in Glendale, AZ, Dr. Upton considered a career in architecture, drawn to structure, balance, and design. He ultimately chose dentistry so he could use his skills in a more personal and meaningful way—helping people directly. Today, he applies his passion for aesthetics and function to improving oral health and creating beautiful smiles for his Glendale dental patients. Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Upton and his wife have four children who are all grown with families of their own, as well as 11 grandkids! When he isn’t busy at work, he really enjoys riding his bicycle, reading, and spending quality time with the entire family, especially at the cabin they have refurbished and restored over the past several years. He’s also passionate about restoring and maintaining his classic 1995 Jaguar.
